Hygiene, and the little things that make my BROTHER cry

Ok so the title is a bit odd...but nevermind that...

Unknowingly to me, my uni mate had a fear factor-ish lunch at the canteen where we always get our food...apparently there was a LIZARD cooked together with her nasi goreng sotong...she has since vowed not to eat her former fav. dish ever again...Ugh...reminds me of my creepy crawlie incident too...

Last Sunday after happily completing my Poetry paper, i headed right back to my dorm...on the way, i stopped over at the hostel canteen to get lunch so tht i wouldnt have to go back and forth later on...so i bought a packet of chicken rice and a packet of teh-ais...got back to my room...took a shower and had a nap before zuhur and lunch...so ard. 3pm, i woke from my deep slumber, prayed and proceeded to have my lunch...I was all alone in the room since 2 of them went back to Kedah and my Law roomie went to her fren's room in one of the neighbouring block...after downing the lunch, i took long sips from my drink to quench my thirst...SUDDENLY...there was this thing in my mouth...it felt a bit hairy...and was the size of a lime seed...

I don't think i was able to speak after what i saw when i took it out of my mouth....it was a BABY ROACH!!!!

U can imagine my disgust...i was speechless...i almost hurled everything out...but lets just say i was a bit too shocked to comprehend how that thing got into my drink in the ferst place...

It was only when my roomie got back and I told her wat happened tht the both of us started to squeal and shriek in utmost horror...and mind you, she almost took a sip out of tht unfinished packet of drink...

After tht we both joked abt tht little creature tht managed to land itself in my drink...things ranging from:

Teej: "Mmmm...that must have been the most tastiest lunch ever huh" *cue giggle*

she couldn't resist poking fun at me and continued...

Teej: "So did anything else in your mouth go CRUNCH??"

and i came back with this line...

Me: *shows her my teeth* so do u see any bits of roach legs dangling in between my teeth? *cue the disgusted shrieks*

I think the other pple in the neighbouring rooms must have been wondering what we were up to squealing so loudly...

So about my brother...heheh...being the little imp that he is...trying to fool everyone...he eventually go a taste of his own medicine...

My father asked him where his locker key was - he then claimed that it was in his wallet-...

So just to be sure, my dad asked him to show him the key itself...my youngest brother kept insisting tht it was safe inside his wallet and saying...-"SECRET! Cannot tell you!"-...okay fine...

But my father kept on insisting and then said:

Papa: "Ah ni mesti dier dah hilangkan locker key dier lah"

Suddenly that little boy burst into tears and said he lost his key...ahakz...all that effort for nothing...it was hilarious...my dad and i were laughing at his expense and his weeping got louder...

Adam: "But i put my key inside my wallet...then when i took it out again it was gone! Betooooolllllll" (continues crying again)

Ahakz...funny boy...

It's these little things that make you crack up when you reflect back upon it...

...Fading Into Oblivion...
