Busy busy busy!

It has been a VERY packed week despite the short week that we were bestowed with last week.

I celebrated my 25th birthday last week!

Had to prepare for assignments, left, right and centre.

I now know why S*hereen was so busy when she was in N*IE.

There was a poetry package to design (some tweaks made after the consultation with the tutor)

Preparing for tutorials.

The ed. psych assignment due today *which took me AGES to complete*

And preparing for my comm. skills oral presentation today

Not only that, F*iction55 also had to be completed.

*phew*

That was a pretty long list.

A lot of my classmates were absent today and even the tutor in one of the classes let us off early because we all looked so dead tired.

Hahaahaa, we probably looked like dead chickens.

But of course the highlight of last weekend (besides completing my 2500 word essay in record time) was my date!

Yes i had a D.A.T.E!

I had a date with mr. a*yie =)

so lomantic hahaha.

i had oodles of fun.


well lets just say he's special to me.

*smiles*

I spent a total of 12.5 hours with him yesterday.

Imagine that.

We went on the luge twice!

*glad to report that i did not have to embarass myself by wearing the helmet the other way around hehe *

We went to the 4D theatre.

We tried to catch the sunset over at the s*outhern most tip of the asian continent
(sadly the clouds covered up the glowing fiery ball dipping into the ocean)

and finally we caught the cable car back to the mainland

*i am seriously gg to fall in love if he keeps this up*

*sigh*

as of now, i am totally, completely, overwhelmingly...

Has it been a week already!

Time is going much too fast!

I only realised this today cos my students have gotten their intensive MT and PW timetables.

2 weeks of intensive PW lessons to prepare for their oral presentations.

2 weeks starting from NEXT week!

And that will be the end of term after that!

And yes...i am tardy with all the Raya blogging.

Kg. Glam & The Babes (plus Awis!)

After marking 40 over GP scripts, i decided to take a break and regain my sanity by going out earlier yesterday evening.

-marking my class scripts definitely put me into a fit of giggles and hysteria most of the time haha-

Yes, there were stories about Spiderman and one verrryyy hungry student.

*Mental note: Must remind my kids to take their b'fast before going for test/exam*

That aside, I made my way to Arab St. (twice this month!) to meet the girls and Awis.

Our special surprise celebration to commemorate Seri's 25th Belated B'day went off without a hitch.

She was all smiles and I'm glad we could make her happy with our small token :D

Of course, when we get together its impossible NOT to take pics, and

this time we went to the LoveGetty/Neoprint store in Bugis Junction to snap away!

Haha, that was a RIOT!

Actually, the one that made us laugh the most was Kak Dewi with her most unforgettable experience in her 7 month teaching career.

ASSIIUM Family Day

It was a scorching hot day.

The perfect setting for a beach-side event.


The company was cool.


Food and drink were plenty.


And i must say that the EXCO and games masters/mistresses did a FINE job!


Too bad so many pple (esp the seniors) could not swing by.


They would definitely admire our closeness.


I truly do believe they envy us.


Yes...cos the juniors aren't close anymore.


There, I've said it.


Its out in the open already.


They have undone all our hardwork and its sad to see that they don't have strong leadership.


I hope that the new EXCO will help to strengthen ties and bring ASSIIUM back to its former glory.

I also want to take this opportunity to thank the organisers for a great time!


I really enjoyed myself.


Despite the turnout.


I reallly enjoyed the games.


Especially the bouldering!


Next event: Another rock climb?
